Driving High-Performance Teams: How Cadent Leverages PROPHET for Organisational Development
Summary:
Cadent is the UK’s largest gas distribution network, managing over 80,000 miles of pipes that deliver gas to 11 million homes. It employs more than 6,000 colleagues and has used PROPHET to develop around 200 people and 30 key teams. Cadent uses PROPHET as an organisational tool, accrediting an internal team of champions to leverage the platform in supporting the development of key teams.

Challenge
Cadent sought an organisational solution that could be driven internally, providing the insight, tools, and platform necessary to run impactful team development initiatives. PROPHET enables the internal HR team to directly influence commercial performance.
Solution
A group of 12 internal HR and Leadership Development professionals, along with some external coach consultants, have been accredited to lead PROPHET-driven development initiatives across Cadent.
Around 200 team members have received their Individual PROPHET Profile to support their personal development.
Approximately 30 teams have benefited from PROPHET’s Team and Organisational Insight Reports, incorporating them into team development programs and conferences.
Results
Cadent’s internal team uses the PROPHET platform to manage the ordering and administration of PROPHET insights across the organisation, benefiting its people and teams, while enabling HR to provide valuable insights to senior management.
